FUSS Christmas Fair needs you!

santaDreading the thought of Christmas?  Get in the mood by helping to get Hither Green buzzing on Saturday 3rd December. Here are the jobs:

1)Barrier duty before the Fair starts (to ensure unauthorised cars don't try to drive down Staplehurst Road etc while the stallholders are setting up.

2) Help on FUSS stalls like the Tombola, Bric a Brac, Water and Wine etc (or just helping set these stalls up from around 10 o'clock onwards.)

3) Sell raffle tickets on the street.

4) Decorate Father Christmas's Grotto.

5) Help in the pub with Father Christmas and the Facepainter (who will be there from about half One/Two pm) collecting the money for the 2 activities and "policing" the lines/keeping everyone in the Christmas Spirit.

6) Tidying up at the end of the Day!

7) Be a fairy in Santa's Grotto.

If you can help, contact Laura at fusschristmas@hotmail.com

St Modwen's srtist's impression

The rumours that the plans had been called in by the London Mayor are wrong

St. Modwen is still working through the last of the technical issues related to additional information requested by the GLA.

They currently expect this process to be concluded this side of Christmas.
The end is in sight.  Maybe.
